Thank you, Thank you, Thank you

Do you find the little Tiny Wave cut on this card?  The Stampin' Trimmer with the Rotary Addition allows you to cut tiny waves, small scallops and perforations with a quick swipe.  This is the 4th card in the stamp camp cards!
Hint:  The Tiny Wave is cut on the Midnight Muse cardstock.

Express Yourself

The saying set, Express Yourself, will be retiring at the end of May.  This Hostess Set has 12 sayings that are so diverse and I've used it so much over this past year.  Don't dismay, new sets will be coming out on June 1st.  This card is another stamp camp card!!

Hung Up Cute Clips

The little wire hangers can be used for more than just hanging little dresses.  The Baker's Twine is perfect for tying a saying to the hanger!  This is another card we'll be making at Stamp Camp.  These stamps aren't retiring but the cute ruffle ribbon will be gone at the end of May.  Boohoo!

SO MANY CANDLES...

We have stamp camp coming up May 13.  The new catalog will be available June 1st so some cool product will be retiring at the end of May.  It's always hard to see some of our favorites retire but then the new product is always the "best"!!    Here's one of our cards we'll be making on May 13th.

BEST card for the man in your life

I used the Ticket Duo punch to make the pocket...just sponged it to make it pop a bit.  The Retro Fresh DSP makes the perfect striped tie.  So Father's Day is a couple months away but there might be another reason to send this card to the Best man in your life.  My sweetheart never gets to keep the card for very long because I want it back as a display.  LOL

Rabbit Ears Bow

If you want to make a cute bow, just make rabbit ears and tie them together.  Perfect every time!

That's Elegant Eggplant

That looks like Basic Black but it's actually Elegant Eggplant.  This Decorative Dots embossing folder was featured as a free item in the Sale-A-Bration catalog but it will be carried over to the new Big Catalog coming out June 1st.  And the Watercolor Wonder washi tape (page 22 Occasions catalog) is a great bargain at $4.95 for 3 rolls.  This card has some elegant features but it would work as a masculine card, eh?

Congrats GRAD

Believe it or not, graduation "season" is coming.  You can customize this card with their school colors. The Top Note is super-easy to layer...just trim along the score lines.  Voila!

Making Lattice

You just have to share when you see a cool technique.  The Chevron Border Punch (page 28 Occasions catalog) can be turned into a lattice fence.  Just punch two strips (1 1/4" high x 8 1/2" long). Then layer them so that the chevron arrows are going the opposite ways.  As you slide them on top of each other, you will see the lattice pop out at you.  Glue together and trim to fit your card.  (I ran the lattice through the Square Lattice embossing folder, too.)  Don't you think flowers growing through lattice is just so Springy?

We're making this card tonight at my Club Get-Together.

Life doesn't have to be perfect...

Whew...that's a relief!  I love this set from the Occasions catalog (page 27...Perfect Pennants).  I have to admit that I held off as long as I could then decided I had to have it!  Just every stamp in the set is fantastic!  One of my best friends stamped this card and it's so awesome I had to share.  Thanks Janeen!

Coffee and Friends

One of my favorite things is a cup of coffee (preferably a mocha).  It's especially great shared with a friend!  I'll be sharing this little coffee card with my friends coming to stamp camp on Saturday!

Happy "Man" Day!

Masculine cards are tough for me.  I like flowers!!  Men like flowers, too, but I'm not sure they like them on their cards.  So, today I'm happy to show this Father's Day card that uses some fun techniques (brayer Rich Razzleberry ink over the Natural Composition DSP then wipe away the excess so the image will pop).  LOVE the Burlap Ribbon (page 37 Occasions Mini)!  Cut one side and fray it.  I also used the Tiny Wave Cutting Blade (page 177) in my trimmer to add even more texture to the card.  Hope you like it.

Stamps:  Delightful Dozen (page 27)
Cardstock:  Crumb Cake, Natural Composition DSP
Inks:  Rich Razzleberry
Accessories:  Trimmer, Tiny Wave Cutting Blade, Rotary Add-On, Burlap 1 1/4: Burlap Ribbon, Antique Brads (page 170), Dimensionals, Sticky Strip (to adhere the  ribbon), SNAIL adhesive.

A Little Heart for My Friend!

We have another whole year to enjoy these In Colors.  I love the new two-year format.  One set rotates out every year...but these beauties have another year before they retire (May 31, 2015).  I love a card that can be used for any purpose.  Just stamp a greeting on the inside when needed.

Real Candles

I suppose you could pull the candles off (in a pinch), light them up and then Make-a-Wish.  I would suggest removing the DSP though!  Otherwise, you may need a fire extinguisher.

I just used Sticky Strip to adhere the DSP and then Glue Dots to add them to the card.

Stamp Sets:  Perfect Pennants (Occasions Mini), Make a Wish
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Coastal Cabana, Fresh Prints DSP Stack (Occasions Mini)
Inks:  Real Red, Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake
Accessories:  White Baker's Twine, Real Red 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals, mini clothespins (retired), white candles (non-SU!), SNAIL adhesive

SWEETIE PIE

Two of the new Photopolymer stamp sets are adorable.  Sweetie Pie.  Sweetie Pie Frames.  They are so sticky so I find they are really easy to work with.  This little girl reminds me of my little girl...well, when she was little.  She has a little one of her own now.  My, how time flies!

I tinted the white Baker's Twine black to make the frame hanger.  Just make sure the ink is dry before handling it (!)
